Listen to my concerns, God,
    and protect me
    from my terrible enemies. 
 Keep me safe from secret plots
    of corrupt and evil gangs. 
 Their words cut like swords,
    and their cruel remarks
    sting like sharp arrows. 
 They fearlessly ambush

You have helped me,

God alone is the mighty rock^[b]
    that keeps me safe
    and the fortress
    where I am secure.psalms 62:2)

Fear of the Lord

                Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge . proverbs(1:7).We all know this phrase from our sunday class times and we recite it often.but how to fear the Lord? This is the question often arises and disappear in between umpteen number of chores. Refrain from all evil is the Fear of Lord.
               We human beings afraid of violent people,diseases and every possible thing that causes harm but never care enough to fear for the words of Lord.
" ....Why should you fear humans who will die,
    mortals who are treated like grass?
¹³ You forgot the Lord your maker,
    the one who stretched out the heavens
    and founded the earth.
    You were continually afraid, all day long,
    on account of the oppressor’s wrath—
    a fear by which they intend to destroy you...(Isaiah 51:12,13)

         Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.(proverbs 29:25)We must overcome our fears concerning evil people.Every where in this world we see and hear violence and harming innocent people.No place looks safe enough  but if we trust God he will keep us safe .
         God advises us to not fear about evil plans of man or about people who harm us.Instead God told us to fear for him which brings peace upon us. Bible says "
Don’t those who plan evil go astray?.of course evil schemers will go astray God will save righteous people from them.We must believe God is bigger than them and He will save us.
        
In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence
    and refuge for one’s children.
²⁷ The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
    turning people away from deathtraps.proverbs 14:26,27) This verse shows how God love his children and save them.
he Lord’s name is a strong tower;
    the righteous run to it and find refuge.(proverbs 18:10).In this whole world our Lord Jesus is our refuge.within him we are safe.
